Change of registered office in Croatia is a procedure with Croatian names. This page explains the terms first, then the questions to ask.

If your company's address is ending, Gajeva 6, Zagreb may be the next one. Whether it fits depends on your company, so ask us first and get the answer in writing.

Four Croatian terms in English

Sjedište is the seat, which English texts call the registered office. Promjena sjedišta is the change of seat. Sudski registar is the court register. Trgovački sud is the commercial court.

Use the Croatian words next to the English when you talk to a Croatian professional. They will look for the Croatian ones.

Where the official steps are

The procedure belongs to the Croatian authorities, not to a virtual office. The gov.hr page on the court register e-service says it allows electronically signed applications for all kinds of entries in the court register, a change of the company seat among them. The page was last updated on 18 Jun 2025 and read on 15 Oct 2026: gov.hr e-service page.

The page is in Croatian. It shows that electronic applications exist, not every step for your company. Ask a Croatian lawyer or accountant to confirm the steps for your case.

Letters sent to the old address

Senders learn about a new address at different times, so some post will still go to the old one. Ask whoever holds the old address what they do with it, and tell us the date it ends.

List everyone who writes to the old address, starting with customers and tax contacts. Send them the new address once the change is on record.

Gajeva 6 as the new seat

Tell us your company form, the date the old address ends and whether the move is already filed. Then ask for written confirmation that Gajeva 6 fits your case, before you pay.

Both plans, "Start" and "Scan", give the same address. "Scan" also opens and scans your post, which helps while old senders catch up. See mail scanning.

Questions to ask before you pay

Is the new address available from the day the old one ends? What happens to post that arrives in between? Which plan suits a company that is moving, and which period does its price cover?

Common questions

How long does the change take?

That depends on the Croatian authorities, and this page promises nothing about it. Ask a Croatian lawyer or accountant about the process, and tell us your date.

Who can act for me in Croatia?

A Croatian lawyer or accountant. In your enquiry, ask what help Virtual Office Zagreb gives on the address side.

What does the address cost?

"Start" is EUR 45 + VAT a month and "Scan" is EUR 65 + VAT a month. Both can be paid for 12 months up front: EUR 299 + VAT and EUR 399 + VAT.
